Clement has made clear his desire for quality arrivals and he will believe Diomande fits the bill. He earned acclaim for his displays in the Europa Conference League with Nordsjaelland and will get the chance to feature in the Europa League with Rangers as they enter at the last 16 stage.
Nordsaelland have already given him permission to leave their American training base for talks. And Rangers are confident they can strike a deal that will see the African ace follow on-loan Wolves striker Silva through the Edmiston Drive door.
