The Baltimore Ravens are one game away from representing the AFC in the Super Bowl, with one more challenge standing in their way – Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Baltimore put an end to the Houston Texans fairytale, winning 34-10, and then watched Mahomes and the Chiefs again break Buffalo Bills’ hearts with a 27-24 win. Now, as Mahomes and the Chiefs come to M&T Bank Stadium, Ravens head coach says his team is up for facing the Kansas City juggernaut. “We’re excited about it we’re looking forward to it,” Harbaugh said. “It’s a huge challenge, playing a great football team very talented very well coached. [They] know how to win, they’ve been in these situations many times. I think they’ve been in the championship game maybe this is their sixth time in a row, so they’ve been here before. It’ll be a big challenge for us it’s our first time with this team and these guys but we’re up for the challenge and we’re excited.” The Ravens have little reason to fear the Chiefs as Lamar Jackson and the offense have been putting up points for fun, while Mike Macdonald’s defense suffocates teams into submission as they have only allowed 20+ points once since Week 9 (34-31 win over the Los Angeles Rams). But while the Ravens offense has been clicking, they might get a welcomed boost as tight end Mark Andrews looks set to return to the lineup. Much has been made of Jackson’s playoff record and while he improved on it against the Texans, slaying Mahomes would be a big boost to his playoff resume. He has all the tools to do it and being at home, Lamar and his team will be locked in and ready to book their spot in the Super Bowl.
