As the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open kicks off at Erin Hills, Wisconsin, from May 29 to June 1, questions have arisen about Rose Zhang’s participation due to her perceived absence in early tournament coverage. However, reports confirm that Zhang is indeed competing, dispelling any concerns about her missing the prestigious event.

The 21-year-old golf prodigy was spotted practicing at Erin Hills ahead of the opening round and is scheduled to tee off in a featured group alongside Jeeno Thitikul and Lilia Vu at 7:51 a.m. local time on Thursday.

Zhang’s limited visibility may stem from her quieter media presence compared to stars like Nelly Korda or Lydia Ko. Earlier this year, she withdrew from the Chevron Championship due to a neck injury but made a strong return at the 2025 Mizuho Americas Open. Fans can rest assured that Zhang is ready to showcase her talent at the U.S. Women’s Open, aiming to make her mark on one of golf’s biggest stages.
