Angel Reese and Gabby Thomas have been revealed as cover stars for Vogue’s latest issue, with the basketball player and Team USA sprinter taking center stage for the iconic fashion magazine.
Reese – known in college as the ‘Bayou Barbie’ for her sense of style – and Thomas separately graced the cover for the Winter 2025 issue, with both of their covers reading ‘When Sports Met Fashion.’
Reese posed in a red dress while Thomas was pictured in black-and-white, wearing a frilly white blouse.
The Chicago Sky center beamed about the news on social media, re-posting the cover to her X account with the caption ‘COVERGIRL.’
She explained to the publication, ‘It’s always been both: basketball and fashion.’
‘I was always in my mom’s closet, putting on her stuff. I liked to carry a purse. Hair done. I wanted to look put together,’ she later said.
