Brentford Reach Agreement to Sign Jaidon Anthony from Burnley in £20m Deal
Brentford have reached an agreement in principle with Burnley to sign winger Jaidon Anthony in a deal worth up to £20 million.
The Premier League club will pay £17 million upfront, with a further £3 million in performance-related add-ons, as they move quickly to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season. Anthony has also agreed personal terms and is set to sign a five-year contract with the Bees once the remaining formalities are completed.
The 26-year-old enjoyed an impressive campaign despite Burnley’s struggles, establishing himself as one of the club’s standout performers with his pace, creativity, and eye for goal. His performances attracted interest from several clubs, but Brentford acted decisively to secure the England winger’s signature.
Brentford’s recruitment team believe Anthony’s versatility across the front line makes him an ideal addition to the squad, with the winger capable of playing on either flank or in more advanced attacking roles.
The deal is now entering its final stages, with medical examinations and the remaining paperwork expected to be completed over the coming days before Brentford make the signing official. Barring any late complications, Jaidon Anthony is set to become Brentford’s latest summer arrival as the club continues its preparations for the new campaign.
