EXCLUSIVE: Celtic Agree Deal for Danish Winger Jakob Breum

Celtic have reportedly reached a full agreement to sign Danish winger Jakob Breum from Go Ahead Eagles in what is expected to be one of the club’s standout moves of the summer transfer window.

The Scottish champions are understood to have finalised terms with both the player and his club after weeks of negotiations. Breum is now expected to travel to Glasgow to complete his medical before putting pen to paper on a long-term contract.

Manager Brendan Rodgers is believed to have identified the 22-year-old as a key addition to strengthen Celtic’s attacking options ahead of the new season. The Danish winger impressed with his creativity, pace and eye for goal, attracting interest from several clubs across Europe before choosing Celtic.

Sources close to the deal claim Breum was convinced by Rodgers’ vision for the club and the opportunity to compete for trophies while playing European football.

An official announcement is expected once the final paperwork has been completed.
