The San Francisco 49ers have stunned the NFL by announcing the return of star wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. The dynamic playmaker was traded back to the 49ers from the Washington Commanders in exchange for a 2025 third-round draft pick and a 2026 fourth-round draft pick.
“We’re thrilled to have Deebo back in red and gold,” said 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan. “His unique skillset and playmaking ability will give our offense a much-needed boost.”
Deebo’s return is expected to significantly impact the 49ers’ receiving corps, with Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle likely to benefit from the renewed partnership.
